Pricing & what is included

How much does a room cost?+

Rooms start from HK$8,201 per month for a place in a Classic Triple, and private solo rooms run up to about HK$16,863 per month. Every room is priced all-in for the essentials, so you know your monthly cost up front.

What is included in the price?+

A fully furnished room, fast Wi-Fi, access to all shared amenities, weekly cleaning of shared spaces and 24/7 security. We keep the essentials in one monthly price so there are no surprise bills.

Is there an early-bird discount?+

Yes. If you reserve before the deadline and pay in full, you unlock an extra 8% off plus HK$1,000 off your first month. The current early-bird offer ends 31 August.

How much deposit do I need to reserve?+

You can reserve online with a deposit, and flexible payment plans are available. Tell us your move-in date and we will confirm the exact amount for your room.

Rooms & moving in

Are the rooms furnished?+

Yes. Every room comes with a bed, desk, storage and fast Wi-Fi, so you can move in with just a suitcase.

How many people share a room?+

Stride offers a range of room types: single-occupancy solo rooms, doubles for two residents, and triples for three. Room sizes run from about 215 square feet (20 m²) up to around 300 square feet (28 m²) for the largest layouts.

How do I apply and move in?+

It is four steps: choose your room, upload your university confirmation letter and a few details online, pay securely, then move in. Most of it can be done from your phone in an afternoon.

How long are the contracts?+

We offer terms that fit the academic year and shorter stays. Message us with your dates and we will find the option that suits you.

Eligibility & viewings

Who can live at Stride?+

Stride is student co-living, open to university and post-secondary students from campuses across Hong Kong. Bring your university confirmation letter during the application.

Can I book a viewing?+

Yes. You can book a viewing online or in person. It takes about two minutes to arrange, and you can walk the building, the rooms and the neighbourhood before you decide.

Which universities are nearby?+

From Wong Chuk Hang you are within easy reach of HKU, PolyU, CityU, HKAPA, HKBU, HKMU and more, most within about 7 to 20 minutes by MTR or bus.

Amenities & neighbourhood

What amenities are shared?+

A study room, two fitness zones, a music room, a kitchen and dining area, a games lounge and a rooftop terrace. The best rooms in the building are the ones you share.

What is the neighbourhood like?+

Wong Chuk Hang has malls, cafes, galleries, sports facilities and hospitals within a short walk, plus open mountain and sea views. Ocean Park and The Southside mall are close by.

Is it safe?+

Yes. The building has 24/7 on-site security, controlled access and hotel-grade fire safety.
