Stride offers a range of room types: single-occupancy solo rooms, doubles for two residents, and triples for three. Room sizes run from about 215 square feet (20 m²) up to around 300 square feet (28 m²) for the largest layouts.

It is four steps: choose your room, upload your university confirmation letter and a few details online, pay securely, then move in. Most of it can be done from your phone in an afternoon.

Yes. The building has 24/7 on-site security, controlled access and hotel-grade fire safety.

By cross-border wire to our Hong Kong account, either from a mainland mobile banking app or in person at a bank counter. Most parents find the counter easier the first time. Either way you convert RMB to Hong Kong dollars first, then send the wire. The full account details are in Section 11 of your Bedspace Licence Agreement, and our team will confirm them with you before you pay.

Your Bedspace Licence Agreement or official invoice, showing the student’s name in pinyin, the payee company name and the amount in Hong Kong dollars, plus the university admission letter. At a bank counter you will also need the paying parent’s ID card and a mainland bank card with enough RMB on it. Print both documents and take them with you.

The student’s full name in pinyin and the room and bed number, for example WANG XIAOMING, Room 1006 B1. This is the single most common reason a payment goes missing: without it we cannot match the money to a booking, and check-in is held up. At the counter, ask the teller to type it into the Remittance Remarks field and check it appears on the slip before you sign.

Choose 自费留学 (self-funded study abroad), under 旅游、留学及停留. Convert the exact amount on the agreement.

The student does, under the agreement. Ask your bank for the OUR option, where the sender covers all charges at both ends. We also suggest buying an extra HK$100 to HK$200: an intermediary bank can deduct a fee in transit, which leaves the amount short and counts as underpaid.

Download the electronic receipt immediately and send a clear screenshot to our team on WeChat. If you paid at a counter, photograph the remittance advice before you leave the bank, and check the payee name, the account number and the remarks line are all correct.

Pay by the date on your invoice. Under the licence agreement, an amount left unpaid for 14 days can lead to the deposit being forfeited and the bed released, so tell us straight away if a transfer is delayed at your bank.
