What HKU students say.

A big advantage of Stride in Wong Chuk Hang is how convenient the transport is. You go downstairs, cross one road and you are at the MTR station, under a three minute walk. HKU is six stops away, about a 30 minute commute. The rooms are well designed too: the singles, doubles and triples are all neatly squared off, with plenty of storage while still protecting each resident’s privacy. The bathrooms are bright and spacious, like a hotel. The rooms feel much roomier than some student housing in Central and Western or in Kowloon. Overall, for an HKU student who wants to live on Hong Kong Island, it is absolutely the best value choice.
ZHANG JIAWEI, HKU student
I chose Stride because it offers a comfortable and convenient living environment for students. Its location in Wong Chuk Hang is perfect, with the MTR just a short walk away, making commuting to HKU quick and easy. The rooms are modern, clean and fully furnished, while the study areas and shared facilities create a great balance between academic life and relaxation. The friendly staff and welcoming community made settling into Hong Kong much easier. Overall, Stride has truly felt like a home away from home, and I would definitely recommend it to other HKU students looking for quality student accommodation.
Ami, HKU student
I arrived in Hong Kong quite late, when dorms were already tight. I ran around everywhere, until I walked into Stride. I loved the single room the moment I saw it: bright, spotless and with a lovely view. The commute to Cyberport and HKU is very manageable. Amid so much uncertainty, this place gave me a calm place to land and a relaxed start to life here.
